Darfur Governor Announces the Destruction of Hundreds of RSF Combat Vehicles

The governor of Darfur, Minni Arko Minawi, announced that the armed forces and the joint forces of the movements were able to “break the back” of a force affiliated with the Rapid Support Militia, which included hundreds of combat vehicles led by Abdel Rahim Daglo.

Manawi said in a post on Facebook: “The appearance of Abdel Rahim Daglo in the battles today on the desert axis confirms the intentions of this militia to control the areas of North Darfur and open the desert road that connects them to Libya.”

He continued, adding: “But thanks to God, your armed and joint forces and the popular resistance were able to break the back of a striking military force that included more than 546 vehicles loaded with military equipment led by the criminal Hemeti’s brother himself. We congratulate our forces on this great victory and express our confirmation that the end of the militias is near.”
