The Egyptian-Sudanese Company for Development and Multiple Investments signed a cooperation protocol with Badr Airlines on Monday at the company’s headquarters in Cairo, whereby Badr Airlines will be the official carrier for the Second Egyptian-Sudanese Businessmen Forum scheduled for next January.
The two parties agreed to cooperate initially in air transport during the workshops and forums organized by the Egyptian-Sudanese Company. Badr Airlines will provide air transport services during these events—both current and future—at preferential rates, giving priority to the businessmen scheduled to attend these forums. The parties also agreed to develop a mechanism to promote these workshops and forums through Badr Airlines’ flights, with the aim of later upgrading the memorandum of understanding into detailed contracts.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of the Egyptian-Sudanese Company by its CEO, Dr. Nasr Al-Din Hassan, who expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with Badr Airlines, praising the major role the airline plays for Sudan during the time of war. He also expressed hope for further cooperation in the coming days.
Business Development Manager Engineer Munjid Ibrahim provided a briefing on the Egyptian-Sudanese Company and the significant role it plays, explaining the preparatory workshops for the Second Egyptian-Sudanese Businessmen Forum. He emphasized the importance of these workshops and discussions in producing recommendations necessary to overcome the obstacles hindering the development of economic cooperation between Egypt and Sudan in various fields.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Badr Airlines by Moatasem Awad, Director of the company’s Cairo office, in the presence of Osman Al-Ahmar, Marketing and Sales Manager, along with a delegation from the company.
For his part, the Director of Badr Airlines’ Cairo office praised the efforts of the Egyptian-Sudanese Company, describing it as “the second embassy in Cairo” due to the major role it plays in facilitating and enhancing relations between Egypt and Sudan.
