Central Bank: Imminent Start of the Thousand and Five Hundred Pounds Currency Replacement

The Central Bank of Sudan announced the imminent start of replacing the currency of the thousand and five hundred pounds through depositing in bank accounts.

The bank called on the honourable citizens to open their bank accounts as soon as possible by heading to the branches of commercial banks to avoid crowding and benefit from advanced electronic payment services.

The Central Bank appealed to citizens to take the initiative now to open a bank account easily and conveniently and to participate in a more secure, stable, and developed financial system.
