The Central Bank of Sudan on Saturday issued a decision to form an administrative committee to assume the duties of the Board of Directors of the Livestock Bank, with the aim of organizing administrative work and ensuring the continuity of the bank’s financial and banking operations.
In a statement, the Central Bank said that the administrative committee, chaired by Mohamed Al-Hassan Ziyada and comprising three additional members, will assume all the powers and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, ensuring institutional stability and the uninterrupted provision of banking services.
The Central Bank granted the committee all authorities vested in boards of directors of banks, provided that it submits a quarterly report to the Governor of the Central Bank, including an assessment of its performance and the progress of work within the bank.
The decision comes within the framework of the Central Bank’s efforts to strengthen governance and banking oversight and to ensure efficient performance in Sudan’s banking sector.
