Burhan Receives “Pledge Document” from Ansar Grouping

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, on Thursday received a pledge document from the Ansar Grouping , in which it reaffirms the entity’s support for the Armed Forces in the “Battle of Dignity.”

A meeting was held on Thursday at his office with a delegation from the Ansar Entity, with Burhan, Ahmed al-Mahdi, expressed in a press statement his happiness to return to his homeland after a long absence imposed by the circumstances of the war.

Al-Mahdi explained that the meeting was meant to congratulate the leadership of the Armed Forces on the victories scored in the “Battle of Dignity” and their pivotal role in securing the return of citizens to their homes after the defeat of the rebels.

Al-Mahdi emphasized that Sudan will remain a nation resilient against all conspiracies targeting its security and stability, affirming the Ansar Entity’s unwavering support for the Armed Forces in order to preserve the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
