Burhan Concluded A Gulf Tour Tuesday, Taking Him to Several Arab States

The Sudanhorizon newswebsite has learned that the Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, began an important Gulf tour on Tuesday, which includes several Arab countries.
According to information obtained by Sudanhorizon, al-Burhan the first leg of the tour on Tuesday was the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which he held talks with senior Saudi officials, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The discussions focused on monitoring the progress of relations between the two countries and developments in the war, in light of the settlement efforts led by the Kingdom.
Burhan also visited the Sultanate of Oman and met again with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to follow up on the Sultanate’s efforts to bring peace to Sudan.
According to information obtained by Sudanhorizon, the Chairman of the Sovereign Council returned to Sudan Tuesday after completing the first leg of his tour. He is expected to visit another Gulf state today, likely the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Chairman’s Gulf tour comes in the wake of significant victories achieved by the Sudanese Armed Forces on the battlefronts and amidst defections within the militia’s leadership, with field commanders abandoning the Dagalo project and returning to the fold of the nation, joining the Sudanese Armed Forces.
