As Part of the Events Marking 72nd SAF Anniversary: Northern State Celebrates Youth and Honors Winners in the Field of Self-employment and Entrepreneurship

The Sudanese Northern State on Wednesday witnessed, within the celebrations marking the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) 72nd anniversary, a celebration of International Youth Day, amid wide youth, state leaders, experts, and specialists participation.
The celebration program began with the honoring of the winners of the youth entrepreneurship competition, in addition to the organization of an exhibition of youth products and projects, which reflected salient examples of youth initiatives and projects and their role in supporting production and development and promoting a culture of self-employment and entrepreneurship.
The day’s events concluded with a volleyball tournament, which included a match between the Dongola South and Popular Resistance teams, along with a number of cultural programs and segments that expressed appreciation and pride in the great efforts and sacrifices made by the Sudanese Armed Forces in the battle for dignity, and recalled the values of patriotism, dedication, and sacrifice for the homeland.
The celebrations were graced by the presence of the state’s military leaders, the head of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the head of the Supreme Council for Animal Resources, and the head of the Supreme Council for Tourism, along with a number of experts, specialists, and community leaders, amidst broad and active participation from young people.
The events emphasized the importance of investing in the potential of youth and empowering them economically and socially, as well as encouraging productive initiatives and projects, thereby contributing to building Sudan’s future and strengthening its role in development and reconstruction.
These events will continue until Sunday, August 16th.
