Announcing List of Sudanese National Team to Meet the African League Entitlements

The Sudanese Football Association has assigned the leadership of the mission of the first national football team (dubbed the Falcons of Jediane) heading to South Sudan to face the Nigerian national team on September 4th in the first round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers (Morocco 2025) to the Vice President of the Association, Head of the Finance, Marketing and Television Committee, Taha Faki Sheikh Taha, while the leadership of the team’s mission to Angola to face its national team in the second round of the same qualifiers scheduled for September 10th in Luanda was assigned to the Vice President of the Association, Head of the Competitions Committee, Mr Tariq Atta Saleh.

The technical staff of the Sudanese national team is expected to announce in the coming hours the main list to join the camp held in the South Sudanese capital.

The Sudanhorizon News website learned that the list will include new players, such as the young Al-Merrikh defender Musa Al-Tayeb and the Ahli Tripoli midfielder Ammar Tayfour, with the exclusion of professionals from European leagues.

The technical director of the Ghanaian team, Kwasi Appiah, relies on the top players and those participating in African leagues, especially the Libyan league.
