Ambassadors of the Quintet Mechanism to Arrive in Khartoum Tuesday to Support Dialogue and the Humanitarian Track

Sources close to the Quintet Mechanism stated that representatives of its constituent organizations, which include the African Union, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the League of Arab States, the European Union, and the United Nations, will arrive in Khartoum on Tuesday at the ambassadorial level.

The sources told Sudanhorizon News that the representatives of the Quintet Mechanism will meet with the Sovereign Council to hear its vision and consult with it on ways to support the comprehensive political dialogue, in addition to consulting with various Sudanese political and civil parties.
The sources added that the Quintet Mechanism will also meet with representatives of UN agencies and organizations in Khartoum to assess the humanitarian situation and discuss ways to support the humanitarian track.
