Al-Hilal Faces Al-Shabab of Tanzania this Afternoon in Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam – Sudanhorizon
Al-Hilal of Sudan will start its journey in the African Champions League group stage against Al-Shabab of Tanzania today, on Tuesday, in Dar es Salaam. The match was scheduled to start at 3:00 pm Sudan time.
The traditional meeting for the match was held yesterday in the presence of the match supervisor, referees, and representatives of both teams.
Al-Hilal’s technical director, Florent Abiyeji, described the match as difficult and important and said in a press interview before the start of the match: “We know that Al-Shabab of Tanzania has changed its technical director, but we do not know what approach he is following. We will discover that during the match. Our players have a great deal of experience, intelligence, and the ability to adapt to the match.”
He added: “We did not come to defend and watch Al-Shabab, but we are here to play and get points. We want to return to our virtual stadium with a point or three.”
