Al-Burhan Thanks Biden Administration and Heads to Mali

General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, expressed gratitude to U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration for allocating additional funds to support humanitarian efforts in Sudan.
In a post on his official account on the X platform (formerly Twitter), Al-Burhan stated that the Sudanese government reaffirms its commitment to keeping all agreed-upon humanitarian aid corridors and entry points open in coordination with UN agencies.
On another note, Al-Burhan departed this morning (Saturday) for an official visit to the Republic of Mali, where he is scheduled to hold talks with President Assimi Goïta. Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding avenues of cooperation, and addressing issues of mutual interest.
