Al-Burhan Receives a Delegation from the New JEM

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met yesterday (Sunday) with a delegation from the New Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement(JEM), led by Engineer Mansour Arbab Younis.
The meeting comes within the support rendered for the battle of national dignity.
In a press statement, Engineer Mansour said that the movement’s position of siding with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) is dictated by the needs of the current situation, which requires standing behind the army to defeat and eliminate the brutal rebellion, according to a press release issued by the Transitional Sovereignty Council’s media.
Engineer Mansour explained that the battle of dignity is a fateful battle for Sudan, requiring the solidarity and cooperation of all Sudanese people.
Arbab added that standing with the armed forces is a necessity to maintain security and peace protect the borders, and defend Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He commended the sacrifices made by SAF, its supporting forces, and the popular resistance for the sake of the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people.
