A $6M Japanese Grant for Humanitarian Aid

The Japanese government has approved a $6 million humanitarian aid grant to Sudan as part of its ongoing support for the Sudanese people. The grant will provide various relief supplies, including food, medical supplies, and other necessities, to those affected by the war.
The grant will be distributed through United Nations agencies such as UNICEF and the World Food Programme.
Sudan’s Ambassador to Japan, Al-Rayah Haidoub, praised Japan’s continued support for the Sudanese people and expressed his gratitude to the Japanese government. He noted Japan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation through a number of development projects in various sectors, particularly health, water, and agriculture.
