Prime Minister Begins Three-Day Visit to Al-Gezira State

Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Idris arrived in Al-Gezira State on Friday morning, accompanied by Federal Minister of Health Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, for a three-day visit during which he will inspect service institutions, hospitals, the Gezira Project, the progress of summer crop cultivation, and preparations for the winter season, according to Sudan News Agency.

The Prime Minister was received in the village of Al-Takina in Al-Kamlin locality, northern Al-Gezira, by State Governor Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, members of his government, the State Security Committee, and community leaders and dignitaries.

The governor expressed his welcome for the visit, describing it as a reflection of the supreme leadership’s concern for the issues and needs of citizens in the states, as well as for advancing the Gezira Project.
