Banning of Kenyan Products is Possible

The acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, explained that the summoning of the Sudanese ambassador in Nairobi came in response to Kenyan President William Ruto’s sponsorship of meetings of the rebel militia and its supporters in his country to sign a political charter.

Al-Amin said in a special statement to the Sudanhorizon news website that the Sudanese government is now studying other options to respond to the Kenyan steps towards this behavior, revealing that among these options is a ban on the import of Kenyan products, explaining that Sudan is the second largest African importer of Kenyan tea.
