Sudanese PM Orders Five New Certificate Centres and 10-Day Extension for University Applications
Khartoum – Sudanhorizon
Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris conducted an inspection visit on Tuesday morning to the main centre for issuing Sudanese secondary school certificates at the Ministry of Education and National Education in eastern Khartoum. He reviewed the long queues of male and female students completing procedures to obtain their secondary school certificates.
The Prime Minister directed the opening of five additional centres for issuing Sudanese certificates, with two in Khartoum, two in Omdurman, and one in Bahri, to facilitate the process and ease pressure on the main centre. He also stressed that students must be enabled to apply for their certificates through electronic platforms, affirming that all students would receive their certificates.
In the same context, Kamil Idris directed that the university application period be extended by an additional 10 days, giving students more time to complete their applications and meet university admission requirements.

The directive stressed the need for all relevant authorities to implement the decisions immediately and provide updates on the measures taken.
These steps are intended to facilitate the issuance of Sudanese certificates, expand services available to students, and give them additional time to complete university admission procedures, as the certificate issuance process continues.
