Al-burhan’s Deputy Receives Turkish Ambassador and Praises Ankara’s Supportive Positions Towards Sudan

Transitional Sovereignty Council Member, and Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Shams El-Din Kabashi, received the Turkish Ambassador to Sudan, Fatih Yildiz, in Port Sudan on Tuesday, where he praised Turkey’s supportive positions towards Sudan in all regional and international forums, in addition to its support for Sudan in the humanitarian field.
The Vice President of the Sovereignty Council expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Turkish government and its support and assistance to the Sudanese people during the ongoing period of war, expressing the Sudanese government’s aspiration to strengthen relations and continue joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields to serve the interests of the two countries people.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador explained in a press statement that the meeting touched on the overall situation in Sudan, in addition to the efforts and role that his country will play to support and assist the Sudanese people in their current ordeal and continue to provide humanitarian aid to those affected.
The ambassador stressed that Turkey places Sudan among its priorities and aspires to advance bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
