Bank of Khartoum Elects New Board of Directors and Holds General Assembly

Bank of Khartoum held its 93rd Ordinary Annual General Assembly and 94th Extraordinary General Assembly at Al Salam Hotel, with the participation of the bank’s shareholders both in person and via video conference, as well as representatives of the relevant regulatory authorities.
The annual meeting reviewed the Board of Directors’ report on the bank’s operations and performance during the financial year ending December 31, 2025, in addition to the National Audit Office’s report on the audited financial statements, as well as reports from the Sharia Supervisory Board and the bank’s legal adviser. The meeting approved the bank’s financial statements for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, which showed exceptional results and a strong financial position, with significant growth across all financial indicators. Net profits of the Bank of Khartoum Group exceeded SDG 747 billion.
The meeting also approved several important resolutions concerning the distribution of SDG 150 billion in cash dividends to shareholders and the distribution of bonus shares to shareholders worth up to SDG 200 billion. It also approved the nominations for the bank’s new Board of Directors for the 2026-2029 term and approved the appointment of Engineer Khalid Hassan Mukhtar as Chairman of the new Board of Directors.

The executive management of Bank of Khartoum Group affirmed its commitment to continuing to improve performance and enhance the quality of banking services and products provided to the public, while working to meet customers’ needs and strengthen their experience with the bank.
It also emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to improve the quality of services and products in order to maintain Bank of Khartoum’s leading position in the banking sector and strengthen its role in serving its customers and the Sudanese community, while continuing to implement plans and strategies that support growth and enhance governance, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Bank of Khartoum shareholders praised the significant efforts and outstanding performance of the bank’s Board of Directors and executive management, noting that these efforts had yielded positive results reflected in the achievement of growth targets and strong performance indicators.
The General Assembly concluded its proceedings, reaffirming Bank of Khartoum’s important role in developing various banking products and strengthening its ability to address challenges by providing banking services that meet the aspirations of shareholders and customers and contribute to Sudan’s economic recovery and development.
