The Sudanese Diaspora Association Announces a Youth Conference in Khartoum

The Sudanese Prime Minister Kamil Idris affirmed his unlimited support for all projects of the Sudanese Diaspora Association, Sudanese communities abroad, and national entities abroad.

This came during his meeting Saturday evening in Khartoum with the head of the Executive Office of the Sudanese Diaspora Association, Abubakr Shubu.

The Prime Minister reiterated the state’s commitment and readiness to cooperate with all national, local, and international organizations and to overcome all obstacles to contribute to the rebuilding of the Sudanese state. He emphasized the importance of the role of youth and the youth projects proposed by the Sudanese Diaspora Association to contribute to the Sudanese National Dialogue program.

In a press statement, the head of the Executive Office of the Sudanese Diaspora Association explained that he briefed the Prime Minister on all the activities and events implemented by the Sudanese Diaspora Association (SADA) in cooperation with a large number of national entities abroad across the European Union, Africa, and Asia, and the association’s extensive reach, which has exceeded 28 recently established branches.

Abubakr Shubo explained that he provided an overview during the meeting of the outcomes of the recent General Assembly of the Sudanese Expatriates Association, the Association’s plans and programs for the upcoming phase, and the level of cooperation between the Association and relevant institutions within Sudan to disseminate its programs abroad in collaboration with all relevant entities.

He noted that, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directives, the Association had previously met with the People’s Friendship Council, the Sudanese Expatriates Affairs Authority, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to strengthen and coordinate efforts between the Association and relevant bodies to contribute to rebuilding the state and its political, social, and cultural life, and to facilitate the voluntary return of Sudanese citizens from abroad.

He indicated that youth organizations will have a significant role in the Sudanese dialogue, announcing in this context a Sudanese youth dialogue to be launched from within Khartoum State in the coming period, so that young Sudanese from various backgrounds can contribute to the process of reshaping political life and the Sudanese dialogue process.

Shubo congratulated the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on their 72nd anniversary and on the victories they have achieved on various battlefronts.

He also called upon all young people and national entities abroad to return to their homeland and to Khartoum to contribute to rebuilding political life and the reconstruction of the Sudanese state.
