Boulos Meets German Ambassador to the U.S. to Coordinate on International Sudan Conference

Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to the President of the United States for Arab and African Affairs, said he held a meeting with the German Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Jens Hanefeld, during which they emphasized the importance of enhancing humanitarian access and advancing the political process in Sudan, in the context of the international conference scheduled to be held in Berlin in mid-next month.
In a post on his account on the platform X, Boulos stated that he met with the German ambassador and his team “to discuss preparations for the third international conference on Sudan in Berlin, scheduled to take place on April 15, which coincides with the third anniversary of the outbreak of the devastating conflict in Sudan.”
Boulos added that both sides discussed their roles as co-hosts of the event and exchanged in-depth views on key priorities, including improving humanitarian access and advancing the political track, stressing the importance of “maintaining momentum and ensuring close coordination among all partners.”
