Minister: Sudanese Students Exempted from Vocational Training Exam Fees

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare has announced a full exemption from exam fees (50,000 Sudanese pounds) for all Sudanese students sitting for the vocational training diploma exams, as part of efforts to alleviate the economic burdens facing Sudanese families.
Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasim Ahmed Saleh, explained in a Facebook post that the decision applies to exams starting on Monday, March 30, 2026.
He directed the relevant authorities to issue exam registration numbers to all students wishing to take the exams without exception. He emphasized that this step is a gesture of support for Sudanese youth and families affected by the war.
The minister has stressed that the state will not allow economic hardship to hinder education and vocational training, adding that empowering youth through training and skills development is a crucial path to national recovery and directly contributes to reconstruction efforts and restoring stability in the country.
