VP of Sudan’s Sovereign Council Receives Blue Nile Delegation Led by Regional Governor

Vice President of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council, Malik Agar Eyre, received on Wednesday a delegation from the Blue Nile Region led by the region’s governor, **Ahmed Al-Omda Badi>.
The delegation also included Al-Fateh Al-Mak, the Head of the Regional Legal Administration Mohamed Karmano, the region’s Ministers of Urban Planning and Agriculture, tribal leader Abdel Aziz Al-Kadalo, the Governor of Al-Rosaires, and the Director of Forests in the region.
According to a press statement issued by the Sovereign Council’s media office, the meeting reviewed humanitarian and security developments in the Blue Nile Region, as well as the issue concerning the administrative affiliation of the Dinder National Park reserve.
The statement added that Malik Agar pledged to discuss the matter with the relevant state authorities in order to reach solutions that meet the aspirations and interests of the region’s residents.
