US Strikes on Iranian Coastlines, Iranian Bombardment of Kuwait and Bahrain Bases

Sudanhorizon – Agencies
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Saturday that it targeted “enemy bases in the region” in response to a US “aggression” that targeted coastal areas in the country, including the city of Sirik and Qeshm Island.
CNN quoted the IRGC as saying via its Telegram channel that the US bases were targeted by missiles belonging to the Aerospace Force.
Hours earlier, the US Central Command announced that it had bombed “coastal surveillance radar sites” inside Iran, following the downing of four Iranian attack drones (unidirectional) that “posed a direct threat to maritime navigation in the region.”
In a related development, the Kuwaiti army announced on Saturday that it was dealing with threats from drones and missiles, while Bahrain activated air raid sirens and asked residents to take shelter.
Kuwait and Bahrain condemned the Iranian attacks in the strongest terms. A statement issued by the Bahraini Foreign Ministry asserted that security in the Gulf “cannot be built by drone and missile attacks,” and that Iran must “immediately cease its unjustified attacks and embrace peace.”
