US Envoy Congratulates Sudanese National Team

US envoy to Sudan Tom Perreillo congratulated the Sudanese national team players on qualifying for the African Cup of Nations (Morocco 2025).

He said in a tweet on the X platform on Tuesday: “Congratulations to the Sudanese football players! What a great performance in the qualifiers for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.”

He continued: “This is another example of the indomitable Sudanese spirit in the face of adversity.”

The Falcons of Jediane team qualified for the African Nations finals after a goalless draw on Monday evening against Angola in the final round of the qualifiers.
