UA Senior Advisor Boulos Meets with UNSC Permanent Representatives on Sudan

Masad Boulos, Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and African Affairs, stated that he discussed the developments in the Sudanese war with the permanent representatives to the UN Security Council, emphasizing the urgent need for a humanitarian truce to allow aid to reach civilians.
Boulos explained in a post in his account on “X” platform that the proposed truce would be subject to a UN-supervised mechanism to ensure the delivery of essential supplies to the population and create the conditions for dialogue between the Sudanese parties.
