Two Sovereignty Council Members Take Oath Before the Council Chairman

Dr. Salma Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mubarak and Dr. Nawara Abu Mohammed Mohammed Tahir, two members of the Sovereignty Council, took the oath today, on Saturday before the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan. The oath was attended by the Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Youssef, and the Chief Justice of the Red Sea State, representing the Chief Justice.
In a press statement, Dr. Salma expressed her appreciation to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council for the confidence he placed in her to assume this position. She praised the great victories achieved by the armed forces on all fronts of operations in the Battle of Dignity, thanks to the Sudanese people’s support for their armed forces, according to a press release issued by the Sovereignty Council’s media office.
Dr. Salma offered her condolences to all the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, both military and civilian, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people.
For her part, Dr. Nawara said that she will do everything in her power to advance and progress Sudan, indicating that she will devote all her efforts to serving the Sudanese people and achieving prosperity and a decent life for them.
