The Security and Defence Council Reviews UAE Measures Against Sudan

The Security and Defence Council held a plenary meeting in Port Sudan on Saturday, presided over by the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, LT Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan.
The meeting discussed the security and political situation in the country.
A statement from the Sovereign Council stated that the meeting discussed the naming by Founding Group and the Rapid Support Forces militia, of a “fictitious authority.” The meeting also reviewed the measures taken by the UAE government and the action required by the Sudanese government.
It is noteworthy that the UAE authorities have banned Sudanese airlines from landing at its airports, and the Ministry of Infrastructure has suspended transactions with Port Sudan.
