Sudan’s PM Tours Khartoum International Airport Premise

Sudanese Prime Minister, Kamil Idris, directed improvements to the quality of services and the simplification and facilitation of procedures for travelers at Khartoum International Airport.

This came during his inspection of the airport on Wednesday, accompanied by Minister of Energy Al-Mutasim Ibrahim, Advisor to the Prime Minister Nizar Abdullah Mohammed, and Director General of Sudan Electricity Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Ali.

The Prime Minister directed the provision of three new buses with international specifications, the provision of fuel tanker trucks, and the enhancement of the electricity supply.

The Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation toured the various sections of the airport, including the arrival and departure halls, passport control, customs, and baggage handling.

He ensured the smooth flow of passenger procedures and reviewed the level of services provided to citizens in the arrival and departure halls.

He also reviewed the ongoing rehabilitation, development, and expansion efforts at Khartoum International Airport and the significant increase in the number of flights.
