Sudan’s Collective Presidency: Sudanese People Alone Can Decide on the War.

Port Sudan – Sudanhorizon
The Sovereign Council, Sudan’s collective Presidency, has issued a strongly worded statement condemning the militia’s systematic targeting of infrastructure.
The statement as issued following the militias attack against vital basic infrastructures in White Nile State at dawn , Sunday, using kamikaze drones, just a few hours after the Quartet statement that called for a ceasefire in the country.
Eyewitnesses in the city of Kosti said that ground defenses repelled a drone attack at dawn on Sunday, and loud explosions were heard in several locations.
The Sovereign Council emphasized in its statement that the current war is actually targeting the Sudanese people and that it will be the Sudanese people who shall decide on its ultimate ending.
It indicated that Sunday’s dawn attacks have targeted civilian facilities and infrastructure in White Nile State, with the drones attacking the Um Dabakir power plant, fuel depots, and Kenana Civil Airport.
The statement added, “This criminal attack, and the attacks that preceded it, constitute an ongoing violation that adds up to a long record of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by this terrorist militia. This approach has become the behavior of this terrorist militia amid suspicious regional and international silence.”
