Sudan’s Ambassador to Iran: Militia Crimes in El Fasher No Less Than Those in Gaza

Sudan’s Ambassador to Iran, Abdelaziz Hassan Saleh, said that the crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in El Fasher, North Darfur, are no less than those perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in Gaza.

Speaking at a press conference in Tehran on Thursday, Saleh said: “Unfortunately, the international community pays no attention to the mass killings of our people at the hands of the rebels in Sudan.”

He detailed crimes committed by the rebels in El Fasher, noting that they have besieged the city, preventing the entry of food and medicine, in addition to attacking schools, hospitals, and mosques.

The ambassador stressed that the atrocities committed by the militia in El Fasher are comparable to those in Gaza. He affirmed that the Sudanese government, driven by its humanitarian responsibility and the importance of preserving the country’s territorial integrity, is working to break the siege of El Fasher and has formed a national committee for that purpose.
