Sudanese Youth Team Passes Age Test for CECAFA

The Sudanese Football Association has stated that all players of the Sudanese youth team participating in the East and Central Africa Zone (CECAFA) qualifiers in Uganda, qualifying for the African Cup of Nations for youth, passed on Wednesday, through the MRI age determination tests that they were subjected to by the tournament organizing committee at Rayen HC Hospital in the capital, Kampala.
The team’s administrative director, Kamal Nasser, confirmed the eligibility of all Sudanese national team players to participate in the tournament after they were subjected to three tests in Port Sudan, Addis Ababa and Kampala, all of which they passed.
In addition, the head of the mission, Abdul Rahim Othman “Al-Girba”, confirmed that they adhered to the real ages in the national team college, which was selected through technical tests by a technical committee that toured the safe states, indicating that they were confident of the real ages of the players.
Adding that “With this step, we have completed all the requirements for participation that were set by the Confederation of African Football.”
