Sudanese Al-Hilal Leads its Group in (CECAFA) After a Great Victory Over the Zambian “Red Arrows” by Five and Qualifies for the Quarter-Finals

On Saturday, the Sudanese Al Hilal team achieved a major victory over the Zambian Red Arrows team with 5 unanswered goals, in the second round of the East and Central African Club Championship (CECAFA), which is currently being held in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam, raising its score to 6 points and leading its group.
According to what was published by the Almohagig website in Arabic, Al-Hilal’s goals were scored by financial professional Coulibaly (3 goals) and captain Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, two goals.
With this result, the blue team advanced to the quarter-finals of the second group, which includes Gormahia of Kenya, Red Arrows of Zambia, and Telekom FC (Djibouti), with 6 points without waiting for the result of its next match against Gormahia of Kenya.
The 2024 CECAFA Cup will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from July 9 to 21. The winners of the three groups, in addition to the best second-placed team, will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Sudanese representative opened the CECAFA Championship by defeating Telekom Djibouti with two goals to none.
