Sudan Participates in the Arab League Economic and Social Council Meetings

The meetings of the 115th session of the Economic and Social Council of the League, at the level of delegates, started in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday, and continue until the end of the week.
The Sudanese delegate to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Imad Al-Din Adawi, is leading the Sudanese delegation in the work of the economic and social committees.
The agenda of the session includes review of the report of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States between the two sessions of the Council. It will also hold discussions on the economic file presented to the work of the 34th session of the Council of the League at the summit level, in addition to other topics related to investment in the Arab countries and the Arab Free Trade Area.
The Council will also consider in its current session the executive plan for the Arab strategy for water security and the unified economic report for the year 2025, in addition to the report and decisions of a number of specialized ministerial councils and a number of topics related to activities of the joint Arab institutions.
