Sudan Participates in Baku Security Forum in Azerbaijan

Sudan is taking part with a high-level delegation headed by Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, Director General of the General Intelligence Service, in the Baku Security Forum hosted by the Azerbaijani capital from September 21 to 23.

The forum is regarded as a prominent international platform for discussing global and regional security issues, bringing together senior representatives from security and intelligence agencies worldwide to exchange perspectives and expertise.

This year’s edition is convened under the theme: “The Role of Mutual Cooperation Between Security Agencies in Preventing Humanitarian Crises During Terrorist Attacks and Armed Conflicts, as well as Global Humanitarian, Environmental, and Technological Disasters.”

The gathering aims to strengthen international cooperation and expand the exchange of expertise among security agencies, contributing to addressing emerging security challenges and mitigating the consequences of conflicts and humanitarian, environmental, and technological crises.
