Sudan Loses Bronze Medal to Senegal in “CHAN”

The Sudanese national football team lost to Senegal 2–4 on penalties after regular time ended in a 1–1 draw in the third-place playoff match of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), held today (Friday) in the Ugandan capital, Kampala.

Sudan failed to hold onto its lead for the second time, conceding an equalizer in the second half in a repeat of the scenario against Madagascar.
