Sudan Exports Chamber: New Plan to Market Sudanese Products Globall

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris emphasized the vital role of the private sector in achieving economic development in the country.
Wajdi Mirghani, head of the Export Chamber at the Sudanese Federation of Chambers of Commerce, stated in a press release that his meeting with the Prime Minister on Tuesday addressed ways to enhance the private sector’s role in increasing production, raising productivity, and supporting the national economy.
Mirghani noted that he discussed with the Prime Minister the private sector’s vision for export development, particularly given Sudan’s abundance of natural resources, as well as the most significant challenges facing the export sector.
The head of the Export Chamber explained that an agreement was reached on developing a plan to enhance Sudanese exports and market them internationally.
He clarified that the meeting addressed mobilizing domestic financing through the Development Fund to implement proposed projects and programs, thereby strengthening the private sector’s role in increasing production and boosting the value of exports.
Dr. Wajdi Mirghani confirmed that the meeting agreed on arranging a meeting between the public and private sectors to strengthen coordination and cooperation between them. He affirmed their full readiness to contribute to reconstruction and drive economic development in the country.
