Sudan Embassy in Tehran: Evacuation of Sudanese Nationals Starts Tuesday.

The Sudanese Embassy in Tehran has finalized arrangements to start evacuation of Sudanese nationals in Iran, likely starting next Tuesday.
The Sudanese Ambassador to Tehran, Abdul Aziz Saleh, reassured the families of the Sudanese community in Iran, confirming that no injuries have been reported among the citizens.
Ambassador Saleh told Sudanhorizon News website on Sunday that the embassy is in daily contact with individuals through direct calls and the mission’s and community’s dedicated group on internal applications.
He said he expects the evacuation process to begin next Tuesday , and revealed that a number of community members and students would be evacuated to Oman, where their families reside.
The head of the mission in Iran expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman and his embassy staff for their immediate approval of the evacuation of the Sudanese community, noting that this stance is not surprising from the Sultanate – its Sultan, government, and people. He also commended the Turkish government, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Directorate General of Migration Management, for facilitating the issuance of transit visas.
The head of the diplomatic mission in Tehran expressed his gratitude to the government for its continued support, specifically mentioning the Prime Minister, the Minister of Presidential Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary-General of the Cabinet, the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, the Director-General of Human Resources, department directors, fellow ambassadors in Ankara and Istanbul and their staff, and the Secretary-General of the Sudanese Expatriates Affairs Authority and his deputy.
