Sudan Doctors’ Network Condemns Militia Killing of 16 Civilians in Western Sudn
El-Fashir – Sudanhorizon
The Sudan Doctors’ Network said that the militia killed 16 civilians in a new bombardment of al-Fashir, including three women. The same strike left 21 people wounded, among them five children.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Network described the incident as a “horrific crime” adding to the militia’s long record of violations in targeting neighbourhoods of al-Fashir.
It stressed that what is happening is not merely bombardment but rather “a full-fledged genocide.”
The Network condemned the continuing violations by the Rapid Support Forces militia in full view of the world, amid what it called a shameful international silence and blatant complicity that legitimises mass killings and leaves civilians exposed to relentless fire and starvation.
It held the international community, the United Nations, and the Security Council fully responsible for the continuation of these crimes, demanding urgent and compelling action to halt the killing machine, secure safe humanitarian corridors, and put an end to the targeting of hospitals, markets, women and children.
