State Minister at the Foreign Ministry Receives Egyptian Ambassador

The Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Omar Siddig, received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Sudan, Hany Salah, on Wednesday afternoon in Port Sudan. The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and explored ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves the interests of both brotherly nations.

The Minister of State expressed the Sudanese political leadership’s gratitude to the Arab Republic of Egypt for its coordination with Sudan and its growing role in supporting the country and preserving its independence and territorial integrity. He also praised Egypt’s significant efforts in supporting the Sudanese government in international forums to achieve peace, security, and stability, and to uphold Sudan’s sovereignty and national unity.
