Sovereign Council President Approves Two Decisions Assigning Foreign Affairs and Education Ministers

The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, has approved the decision of the Council of Ministers assigning Ambassador Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddiq as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Al-Burhan also approved the decision appointing Dr. Al-Tohamy Al-Zein Hajar Mohamed as Minister of the Ministry of Education, according to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Wednesday.

The President of the Sovereign Council has meanwhile directed the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the relevant authorities to put the two decisions into effect.

Al-Burhan had issued a decision assigning Ambassador Dalilah Haj Ali as Minister for the Cabinet Affairs, in charge of running the duties of the Prime Minister.
