SAF Ground Defenses Repel Drone Attack on El Obeid

El Obeid – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Armed Forces’ (SAF) anti-aircraft missiles have repelled drone attacks launched by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on Saturday against several locations in El Obeid.
Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, SAF official spokesman, said in a brief statement on Saturday that the army’s anti-aircraft missile systems have effectively repelled the targeting of the militia’s suicide drones at dawn Saturday against some facilities in El Obeid.
He added the incident did not result in any losses, adding that “this childish mischief will not deter the march to victory, God willing and by His grace.”
Two days earlier, the Sudanese Armed Forces and its supporting forces announced the liberation of the strategic city of Bara, located approximately 60 kilometers north of El Obeid, and seized a large number of weapons and equipment. This is part of the plan to relieve pressure on El Obeid and advance westward toward the city of El Nehoud.
