RSF Militias Attack El Obeid Power Station

The Sudan Electricity Holding Company (SEHC) has revealed that El Obeid power station was attacked by drones early this morning (Sunday).

In a press release the company explained that the attack resulted in direct hits on the station’s building, causing a fire and leading to a power outage.

The company confirmed that the Civil Defense forces have put out significant efforts to extinguish the fire, and that a technical assessment of the attack’s damage is underway to determine the necessary repairs.

The RSF militias continue their attacks on civilian infrastructure, essential service centers, and power stations in several Sudanese cities, including El Obeid, which is under a virtual siege.
