RSF Drone Strike Hits Civilian Facilities in Kosti

Civilian facilities in the city of Kosti, in White Nile State, including a fuel station, were struck by drones on Sunday in an attack attributed by Sudanese authorities to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
According to the state-owned Sudan News Agency, the attack resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to 14 others.
Following the incident, White Nile State Governor Lieutenant General Qamar Al-Din Mohamed Fadl Al-Mawla, accompanied by members of the state’s security committee and Dr. Al-Zain Saad Adam, the state Minister of Health and Social Development, visited the targeted site and checked on the injured at Kosti Hospital and Al-Madina Hospital. The delegation reviewed the medical procedures being provided to those wounded in the attack.

The governor stated that attacks on civilians and public service facilities would not deter the Sudanese Armed Forces and allied forces from continuing their efforts to maintain security and restore stability.
For his part, Health and Social Development Minister Dr. Al-Zain Saad Adam said that all injured individuals received the necessary first aid and medical treatment, adding that healthcare institutions responded immediately to the incident and provided the required care for the victims.
