RSF Accused of Assassinating Al-Hilal Board Member

The board of Al-Hilal Sporting Club has accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of responsibility for the assassination of Major General Al-Sadiq Yusuf, a member of the club’s board.

In a statement released on Friday afternoon, Al-Hilal’s management revealed that Major General Al-Sadiq was killed in RSF detention after a prolonged period of unjustified and arbitrary detention.

The statement, seen by Sudanhorizon, noted that the board had repeatedly appealed to the RSF to release him since his arrest.

The club announced that a memorial service for the late Al-Sadiq would be held in Cairo, Egypt, and attended by his immediate family.
