Putin Invites Al-Burhan to Participate in the Russian-Arab Summit

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has recently received an official invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin to participate in the Russian-Arab Summit.

Al-Burhan received the Russian Ambassador to Sudan, Andrey Chernov, at his office in Port Sudan on Tuesday, who delivered the invitation, according to a press release issued by the Transitional Sovereignty Council’s media office.

The meeting addressed aspects of cooperation between Sudan and Russia, the course of bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop and cultivate them, in addition to issues of common interest and developments in Sudan.
