Preparations Completed for the Second National Conference on Youth Issues in Kassala

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with the Higher Council for Youth and Sports in Kassala State, has completed all arrangements and preparations for the launch of the Second National Conference on Addressing Youth Issues.
The conference will be hosted by Kassala State from June 6 to 9, 2026, with broad participation from youth leaders, representatives of Sudanese states, and stakeholders concerned with youth affairs.
Earlier on Friday, a federal delegation headed by Ahmed Adam Ahmed, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Hani Taj Al-Sir, Undersecretary of the Ministry, departed for Kassala State to oversee the final preparations and participate in the opening of the conference.
For his part, Adam Jarnous, Secretary of the Higher Council for Youth and Sports in Kassala State, confirmed that all technical, administrative, and organizational preparations for hosting the conference have been completed.
He noted that the state has mobilized all available resources to ensure the success of the national event and to help achieve its objectives, which include discussing key youth issues, exploring practical solutions to challenges facing young people, showcasing youth-led initiatives and innovations, and strengthening the role of youth in the country’s reconstruction and development efforts.
