PM Dissolves A Number of Boards, Relieves Cabinet Minister and Advisors

Prime Minister Kamil Idris issued a series of decrees on Thursday, including the dissolution of the boards of directors of several government companies, agencies, and units, and he also relieved a number of officials from their positions.
The decrees included the dissolution of the boards of directors of public sector companies, agencies, and government units, in addition to dissolving the board of directors of the Sudanese Consumer Goods Company (Sel’ati), and transferring the company’s affiliation to the Ministry of Finance.
The decrees also included relieving the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Lamia Abdel Ghaffar Khalafallah, the Prime Minister’s Advisor, Badr al-Din Ali Muhammad al-Jaafari, and the Press Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office, Muhammad Abdel Qader.
