PM and the Governor Mark start of Marking Examinations Nationwide, an Event Sponsored by Zain

In an initiative that affirms its ongoing commitment to supporting education and youth in Sudan, the Sudanese Mobile Phone Company (Zain) has sponsored the “Ring the Bell” program marking the start of the Sudanese Certificate Examinations for the deferred batch for the year 2024. The event took place morning (Sunday) at Saadabi Girls Secondary School in Port Sudan.
The program was launched in the presence of the Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, the Governor of the Red Sea State, Gen. Mustafa Mohamed Nour, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, members of the Higher Committee of the Sudanese Certificate Examinations Emergency Room, the Regional Director of Zain in the Red Sea Sector, and a number of executive and education leaders.
In his address marking the event, Prime Minister Kamil Idris emphasized the importance of the Sudan School Certificate Exams as a pivotal milestone in students’ educational and societal journeys. He praised the efforts of the organizing committee to overcome challenges and ensure the exams were conducted in a safe and organized environment despite the exceptional circumstances facing the country.

 

 

For his part, Zain’s Regional Director for the Red Sea Sector, Mr. Samawal Karar, expressed the company’s pride in participating in this important national event. He emphasized Zain’s commitment to supporting the educational process and assisting Sudanese society in its journey toward the future, especially at this critical stage in the nation’s history.
Karrar noted that Zain had honored outstanding students in the Sudanese School Certificate exams for the postponed batch for 2023 and is now in the process of launching the second edition of the vocational training project in six Sudanese states. The project aims to empower youth and provide them with the skill required to enter the labor market and contribute effectively to the nation’s progress.
