Northern State Health Ministry Launches Appeal to International and Local Humanitarian Organizations

The Ministry of Health in the Northern State launched an appeal to the international, regional, and local community and to local, regional, and international aid organizations to help save the lives of thousands of people affected by rains and floods in Wadi Aqsa locality, north of the state.

The ministry warned of a looming humanitarian disaster for thousands of citizens and displaced persons due to the rains and floods and their effects.

The Ministry of Health in the Northern State said in a statement today, Friday, that more than three thousand homes and several health facilities and shelter centers and the urgent need to feed and shelter those affected and provide tents, food, and medicine is directed to appeal to all citizens of the state to take extreme caution and care due to the heavy rains and torrential floods that swept the state.
