Northern State General Intelligence Thwarts Major Militias Logistical Support Operation

The Northern State General Intelligence Service has revealed the abortion of a major smuggling operation destined for Hamrat al-Sheikh. The operation was foiled following a well-coordinated security raid in the Titi area, conducted by Economic Security, at a well-known coffee shop.
The state’s Deputy Director of General Intelligence, Colonel Abdel-Aleem Attia, explained that the operation was the result of intensive surveillance and accurate intelligence gathering in coordination with relevant security agencies, particularly the state’s Economic Security, which played a pivotal role in monitoring and analyzing the movements of the culprits and in, surprising the smugglers who gave in without any resistance.
Abdel-Aleem indicated that they seized large quantities of materials, including 80 barrels of fuel, 78 packages of oil, a large quantities of food supplies, 56 containers, personal weapons, advanced communications equipment, including Starlink and modern phones, and cash money. Three vehicles (a pick-up and a saloon) and a ZS vehicle were also seized, and six suspects from the area were arrested.
Attia confirmed that the accused have now been transferred to the Dongola Prosecution Office and would be investigated in accordance with the provisions of the Emergency Laws. He emphasized that the investigations would reveal the parties behind the smugglers and that the agency would continue to perform its national duties with determination to protect national security and sever all enemy supply lines.
